Distribution Denial of Service Attack is were you send 1000's of commands at one given time to a server, this inundates the server with workload and causes to slow down to a halt,Bit like when you use your computer and max out the memory everythink still works but really really slowly.So a server cannot let legitimate users see the website because its busy processing the 10000s of fake data requests sent to it.
